Cherry On Top - Not!

God will use everything and anything to teach you a lesson. The title of today's  lesson is, Cherry On Top - Not!

Soooooooo, a grocery store has cherries on sale for $3.99 a pound. A sale? YES! But I knew something just wasn't right with them. They were all very small. Each bag I picked up - little round rocks. Imagine a big raisin, not a grape, but a raisin. Not right for a cherry.

Greed+Impatience+Cheap=Disaster.

Maaaaaaaaaan, them things are mad nasty But that's what I get. That cherry made me realize that everything has an appointed time to reveal the fruits of its labor.

Habakkuk 2:3, Psalm 27:14 and so many more Scriptures speak of waiting. If I would have waited to buy cherries when they were ready, I wouldn't have wasted money and ate 5 of them (greedy tries hare to make stuff taste good) before I realized these really are nasty.

I thank God for blessing me with yet another lesson on patience. That thing, my gift, that He has for me is on the way and I can't rush His perfection.
